Lighthouse Behavioral Health and Wellness Center was created in 2017 to provide behavioral healthcare services to members of the community informed by up-to-date, bona fide research on factors that contribute to positive outcomes in psychotherapy.

Outpatient Mental Health Clinicians

Responsibilities and Duties

Provide strength-based therapy to youth under 21 years old who have social, emotional, and behavioral health needs. Therapists are Master's level clinicians who provide individual and family therapy with the goal of enhancing functioning and positive communication both individually and within the family system. Therapists provide an initial assessment and quarterly reassessments, treatment, some crisis intervention, and care coordination to children, adolescents, and their families as part of a team with Therapeutic Training and Support (TT&S) Bachelor’s level staff.

Primary job responsibilities include:

  • Facilitate groups, family and individual sessions and completing all necessary documentations

  • Conduct level of care assessments and facilitate appropriate admissions and referrals.  Complete UR for medical necessity for clients.

  • Communicate with collateral contacts including schools, family members, legal system, psychiatrists, primary care physicians, and other treatment facilities.

  • Ensure all clinical documentation is completed in a timely fashion as specified in the clinician handbook.

Responsibilities and Duties

The Therapeutic Mentoring Program at Lighthouse Behavioral Health & Wellness offers structured, one-to-one, strengths-based support services between a Therapeutic Mentor and a child/youth for the purpose of addressing daily living, social and communication skills

Responsibilities and Duties

Therapeutic Training and Support staff member (TT&S) works in a team with a master’s Level Clinician. Their services can be in the home, school, or community to respond directly to the family and youth in their own environment and will serve to expedite wellness and recovery. Treatment is a strength-based model that identifies child and family strengths.
